BZU has recently signed an MOU with CIRCLE Women Association to put up joint efforts to encourage women led technology based startups as well as startups solving problems that women face to register and participate.
In this regard, CIRCLE will organize time to time entrepreneurial workshops and orientation sessions during the next two months to engage the students of BZU.
From the next week, CIRCLE is going to offer workshops in collaboration with IBM to their partners and stakeholders to support in building a startup community and contribute to the ecosystem. Please find below the details of the first workshop "Introduction to Enterprise Computing: (Master the Mainframe)" by Phila Dlamini.
Master the Mainframe:
A is a fun way to get hands-on experience across a variety of technologies, to develop valuable skills, and to earn digital badges – with no prior knowledge required!
Part 1: Learn the basics of navigation, files, and programs.
Part 2: Practice programming languages, operating systems, and technologies.
Master the Mainframe introduces all participants to enterprise systems and inspires interest in mainframe technology.
Gain unique skills required for enterprise systems.
Learn how to code and build innovations using the mainframe.
Earn Digital Badges.

Phila W Dlamini is a MEA Z Developer Advocate at IBM. She manages and owns the Africa LinuxONE Community Cloud, she gets to work with IBM clients, and business partners. She is member of IBM Academy of Technology and MEA Women in Tech.
Phila has been a guest lecture at all the prestige universities in South Africa. Phila graduated at Rhodes University, was a SAP consultant before she worked for IBM.
